OUR WORK

Treated, rendered, left ready to decorate.

Damp work is judged on the finish as much as the diagnosis. Every wall here was taken back, treated and replastered by the same team, and photographed after the render had dried and before anyone decorated.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Back to the brick, then built up again.

Contaminated plaster holds the salts that draw moisture back in, so it comes off entirely. What goes back on is a salt-resistant render system, skimmed flat and left to dry through before anyone decorates.

The bay window wall before work, plaster blown and stained at skirting level.
The same bay window wall replastered and finished flat.

IN SEQUENCE

Three jobs, photographed as they went.

The walls above were photographed on the last day. These three were photographed throughout, so what the house is like on the way to that finish is on the page rather than left to the imagination.
